![]() Them being masters of magic is a huge part of their faction identity, seeing them with less options than the Empire is extremely disappointing. Same thing with the Slaan and Dark Elves missing their Lores (with Dark Elves I can see the argument that Lore of Life will make them much stronger, but even then I don't think it's that big of a deal). On the other hand adding these lores will add more flavor and lore friendliness to the race. Each Total War: Three Kingdoms warlord of each faction brings unique abilities, strategies, and armies to the table in their quest for superiority. Even in terms of adding variety, they don't provide anything that would break the Ogre's balance or will hurt their uniqueness (the combination of Lore of Heavens, Death and Beasts is extremely unique among the different races). Every Single Total War: Three Kingdoms Faction, Ranked. The Lore of Heavens and the Lore of Death aren't straight better than the Lore of the Maw or the Lore of Beasts. These troops are best placed at the rear of an army, where they can cause damage from a position of relative safety. ![]() Ogres aren't exactly overperforming and with a few exceptions (like the Lore of Life) adding more Lores of Magic to a race doesn't equate to a straight buff. I get the point you are trying to make, but I don't really think it works in this case. ![]()
